2008 - Up to 150 people were coming to share a delicious community meal with us once a week. We would always have more than enough in donations to purchase organic whole foods. Kumera evolved into a favorite weekly event at the Croatia Club.

We cater like minded events and festivals and promote organic, healthy and delicious
food that is affordable. We are also keen to help orther community groups set up community kitchens and
Permaculture gardens.

Whats Cooking at Kumera?

We are cooking up some yum yum yummy things every Monday Evening on
Glebe RD in Mereweather, Newcastle.

We are mentoring with the United Church in Mereweather to set up a community
kitchen and permaculture garden...
We have been cooking up for about 2 months now and are ready to take the project
to the next level...
