Kumera Kitchen
The Kumera Kitchen is a registered not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to providing healthy, organic, local produce and nutritious meals to the community. The coordinators of Kumera Kitchen have been establishing and running community kitchens since 2005.
Kumera Kitchen caters like minded events, conferences and festivals at minimal cost.
Kumera Kitchen established the weekly Uniting Church Merewether Community Kitchen in 2009.
Drop in around 4pm to help with cooking and food preparation or come to the dinner at 6pm.

In 2010, we hope to establish a permanent Community Kitchen on Parry Street in Newcastle. We are in the process of securing funding to make this possible.
